maybe a cold?

I haven't been feeling really well for the last couple of days, and I've been coughing more than usual, so I took a home covid test this morning.

According to the antigen test, I don't have covid. I didn't think I did, but "I don't think it's covid" isn't enough, especially now that they're saying Evusheld isn't useful against the latest variants of the virus.

However, the negative test doesn't mean I'm not coughing, and doesn't mean that I don't have something else contagious. And it doesn't make it a good idea for me to go into a store today, even masked.

I am feeling somewhat better than yesterday or the day before, which seems at least as relevant

It might be that RSV running around. I hope whatever it is it goes away soon!

I'm glad you're starting to feel better. Not-COVID can still be unpleasant, and interfere with plans.

I hope that whatever it is clears up soon and no one else in your house catches it
