I have a fine, shiny new Palm "Tungsten E" PDA, a birthday gift from the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] cattitude. I'm in the process of putting on the software I want, and dealing with apparent incompatibilities--ranging from an app that doesn't seem to run under this version of PalmOS to the annoyance of the keyboard cable being knocked loose in the course of plugging the Palm cable into the USB port. My computer lives under my desk, so all cabling involves crawling around: today, I'm getting Cattitude to do that for me, because I have a sore shoulder and neck muscles. He is a sweetie.

I suspect I'm going to spend a bunch of time in the next few days getting new/replacement software, exploring what this can do, and rebooting my machine.

There is no such word as 'noonlight', but it would be nice if there were. — Terry Pratchett
