Praise then darkness, and creation unfinished

The upshot of this afternoon's shopping trip is a pair of slippers and half a loaf of rye bread. I wanted shirts, but didn't find anything I liked at Daffy's, and lacked the energy--emotional as much as physical--to proceed to additional clothing stores.

I just had the super in to fix the bathroom sink, again. Hoping the repair lasts more than a fortnight this time (it has a tendency to drip).

Not a nothing day, but not exciting either.
