We are in the new place, and dismayed by how little space (counter and storage) we have in the kitchen. cattitude and adrian_turtle unpacked. On the day, julian was extremely helpful, not only with cat-wrangling but with a grocery store run so we could have a late lunch, and dinner, of sandwiches, deli counter sushi, and fruit.
The cats woke us up by howling Wednesday night, which was no fun for anyone (probably not even them). Last night was better.
The quickest and easiest bit so far has been having the internet connection hooked up. The person from RCN was here within the scheduled window, and the setup was straightforward.
Nonetheless, I woke up frazzled this morning. Breakfast helped some, and in a bit we will work out what to do first (based on some combination of priorities, what I am up for physically, an logistics (e.g. the kitchen light fixture seems to need odd bulbs; if they don't have them at the hardware and housewares store at Porter Square, is it Amazon time?).
