That 14-day countdown was from when I last saw adrian_turtle. The thing is, I didn't find out she was sick and might have the coronavirus until a week later, which means there are seven days when I wasn't being more careful than was being advised for everyone at that point.
So I could have picked this up randomly from someone in one of the two or three shops I entered during that week. Or not.
