The high point of the weekend was having [livejournal.com profile] cattitude home on Saturday, with time for Scrabble and conversation and a walk in the park. Sunday morning, he took the subway downtown to work, and I went for a shorter walk, in which I saw daffodils (my first of the season), more crocuses, and forsythia. Most of the forsythia are running late this year, and indeed I'd about concluded "it's going to be a while" after passing two forsythia bushes with buds showing no color. Then I got to the corner of 217th and Park Terrace West, and found a forsythia with quite a few flowers open. Not the full-on yellow glory of being entirely in bloom, but a nice start.

Today, work and gym, both reasonably successful, though the work was more frustrating (trying to fit a 390+-page book into 384 pages) than the exercise.
