I went to the gym in the afternoon so I could go to the NY Review of SF weekly meeting afterwards. It was a small gathering:

bugsybanana, me, and eventually David Hartwell. We read manuscripts, chatted, and eventually other people started working on sending out review copies. I left then, because I had been getting colder and colder during the meeting.
By the time I got uptown, it was not only snowing, but painfully cold, even with the long underwear and all. I made myself hot chocolate (9:00 is too late for tea to be prudent) and decided that I'm not going outside again tonight unless the building catches fire. I can smell chili heating on the stove.
Cardio, 33 minutes, top heart rate 144
Hip adduction, 100 pounds, 3 sets of 12
Hip abduction, 90 pounds, 12; 80 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Assisted chin-up, 10, 5
Calf machine, 60 pounds, 2 sets of 15--and my right calf cramped on the last rep of the second set. After extra stretching and a pause, one set of 15 reps at 55 pounds

Seated leg curl, 85 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Tricep pulldown, 45 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Wrist curl, 30 pounds, 3 sets of 13

Yoga tree, 4 sets of (2 on each leg)
Seated leg press, 230 pounds, 3 sets of 13
Bicep curl, 35-pound bar, 3 sets of 15
Lateral raise, 5 pounds in each hand, 15 (my forearms were sore enough to interfere with this)
