I had a nice long workout this afternoon: lots of different exercises, and increased weight or number of reps on several (and decreased on at least one, but overall I'm quite pleased).
Cardio, 14 minutes, top heart rate 144--I was feeling sleepy during this, so decided not to force myself, since 14 minutes is plenty for a warmup and I prefer the weight work.
Calf machine, 80 pounds, 3 sets of 15
Leg press, 250 pounds, 2 sets of 12
Seated leg curl, 90 pounds, 12; 85 pounds, 12
Wrist curl, 30 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Adjustable row, 80 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Crunches, 4 sets of 20
Back arches, 3 sets of 17
Yoga tree, 4 sets of {2 on each leg}
Bicep curl, 35-pound bar, 3 sets of 15. When I started, it felt like it might be too much weight, but I got through the first set, and the second and third were no harder.
Lateral raise, 5 pounds in each hand, 2 sets of 15
Hip adduction, 90 pounds, 2 sets of 15
Hip abduction, 80 pounds, 14, 10
Overhead press, 40 pounds, 10; 35 pounds, 7
Vertical chest press, 40 pounds, 2 sets of 15 (those 2 are Xpressline machines)
Tricep pulldown, 45 pounds, 15, 8; 40 pounds, 7 (finishing the set begun at 45), 15
