We just got another grocery delivery, which is a very good thing, with both necessities like milk, and some things we could do without, like a chocolate bar with orange peel.

One of the "could do without" items is a mini lemon tart, which we ordered, the receipt says we paid for and received, but it wasn't in the bags the shopper dropped off. The weird thing is that I have ordered this twice, and it vanished both times. Last time, the shopper allegedly replaced it with a different lemon dessert, which we didn't receive.

I am not going to make another attempt to order the lemon tart from Wegman's through Instacart, something Weird might happen. I hope whoever handles Wegman's customer service doesn't look at my complaint and think "she must be running some kind of scam."

Ooh, chocolate with orange peel. I miss that. Might need to order some.

I’m sorry you didn’t get your lemon tart!

Instacart has been very quick to refund issues like this for me, though as credit towards a future purchase, not money back on my card. I hope you are able to sort it out.

Or shoppers can’t resist eating them, or the tarts are really good at landing face down when being loaded into the car, so get thrown out.

Or possibly tarts have wings, and fly away! (Someone, somewhere, has to have written fiction about angelic sex workers. Maybe even many people, manywhere!)
