Praise then darkness, and creation unfinished

I had a pleasant, if somewhat sleepy, video call/chat with rysmiel this evening. As they said, we are keeping each other up on news/our lives pretty well in email, so this was more about wanting to see each other's faces, and hear each other's voices, than about having specific things to tell each other.

(We did this through gmail, using cattitude's laptop, and it worked fine once I told Firefox to allow pop-ups.)
